4 year old black lad Jock arrived in kennels in early January. Since then we have spent time getting to know him and found him to be a friendly lad who absolutely adores humans.
Jock has been lucky to have spent some weekends away from kennels in a home environment where he settled well. He was clean in the house and the usual household noises – vacuum cleaner, washing machine – did not spook him at all. He was very friendly and respectful with the resident children and a pleasure to have as a house guest.
Jock gets on well with the other kennel greyhounds when out on daily walks but is very wary and can be reactive towards other breeds of dog. He seems to have very limited experience of the outside world and other types of dogs but this is something we are working on.
Jock would need to be the only dog in the house or could possibly live with a female greyhound. Jock has a lot of love to give and this friendly lad would worship and adore any prospective adopter! If you would like to find out more about Jock or any of the other hounds in our care please contact either Sue our re-homing co-ordinator on 07794463249 or Siobhan at kennels on 07960561988
