You may remember that, before Christmas, we took part in the Support Adoption for Pets Christmas appeal, at our local Pets at Home Stores.
Yesterday we were in the Horwich and Walkden stores to receive our cheques from the Support Adoption for Pets charity. We were amazed at the amounts awarded, £1,548 from the Walkden store and £1,750.25 from the Horwich store!
Here are the presentation photos from both stores, thank you so much Support Adoption for Pets and everyone who volunteered their time to help us.
Four year old Sonny is a fairly new arrival in kennels. He is a very friendly boy who is a dream to walk, and doesn’t react to other breeds of dogs when out and about. Sonny is a little smaller in stature than many of our other greyhound boys - so if you are looking for a smaller hound to join your family look no further.
This lovely lad, with an unusual ‘Roman’ nose has just enjoyed a weekend away in the Lake District with our regular volunteers and they report he behaved well. If you would like to find out more about Sonny featured here please contact either Sue our re-homing co-ordinator on 07794463249 or Siobhan at kennels on 07960561988
