Four year old ‘shy guy’ Lucky is this week’s Friday Feature.
Lucky only arrived at kennels earlier this month but has already made a good impression on Siobhan and the walking volunteers. Although initially shy with strangers, Lucky is a friendly boy as soon as he gets to know you.
He is relatively small for a male greyhound and very easy to walk. It appears that Lucky does not react to other dogs when out on walks, but it is not yet known how he would be around cats.
If you would like to find out more about Lucky, or any of our other dogs in kennels, please contact either Sue our re-homing co-ordinator on 07794463249 or Siobhan at kennels on 07960561988
We couldn't have asked for better weather yesterday as over 100 sighthounds and their owners turned up for our second social dog walk. Our thanks go to everyone involved in making this such a successful event which raised over £800 for the rescue.
A different Friday feature today, instead we have news of a homing!
This time it's .....Oscar. This lovely lad will live in the Cheadle area with Vanessa, Phil and his Makants hound sister Pearl. We send congratulations to them all and our best wishes for their future together.
