We had a very welcome visitor to kennels at the weekend, Marathon runner Sue Roberts. Sue came to hand over the cheque for the final amount she raised in the recent Manchester marathon which came to £397!
Not only is this an amazing achievement for Sue it's an amazing amount she has raised for the greyhounds too!
Here's Sue handing the cheque over to Siobhan on Saturday accompanied by her Makants hound Jess (was Tiny).
Four year old Paddy is our Friday Feature this week.
Paddy loves to play especially with volunteers and lots of toys in the paddock, he'd probably be there all day it you'd let him! He has attended several fundraising events at busy Pets at Home stores and has been perfectly behaved towards every breed of dog he has come across.
Paddy does need someone who is around most of the day at the moment as he doesn’t cope well with separation. We are hopeful that with time and patience this will settle down.
Siobhan describes Paddy as an ‘all round super dog’, he just needs someone who has the time to help him adjust, at his pace, to living in a home. If you would like to find out more about Paddy featured here please contact either Sue our re-homing co-ordinator on 07794463249 or Siobhan at kennels on 07960561988.
