We have news of another homing today - and this time it's Skye!
Lucky Skye, who joined us in April, will live with previously adopted Makants hounds Oscar, Tom and Lucy, and humans Sue and David.
Skye's sister Lucy is actually her real sister as they are from the same litter! Sister Lucy also recently celebrated her first 'gotcha' day too. It sounds like celebrations all round, congratulations to the whole family!
We have news of a homing to share with you today, and this time it's Darcy!
This lad has overcome his shyness and has certainly come out of his shell. He is now living in the Oldham area with Lisa and Richard and we wish them all every happiness for the future. We also send a big 'thank you' to Sue and Adrian who fostered Darcy and introduced him to the big wide world.
There’s no doubt that four year old brindle boy Lenny is a handsome lad. He’s also friendly and popular with our regular dog walkers too. Although Lenny has only been with us for three weeks we’ve already found that he loves his food and, now he is settled in kennels, he has started to show an interest in playing with toys.
Lenny looks forward to his daily walk and is excellent on the lead. On walks he has behaved well and not shown any negative behaviour towards other breeds of dog. Lovely Lenny has the potential to be a great family pet and we are now looking for his forever home. If you would like to find out more about Lenny featured here, or any of the other hounds in our care, please contact either Sue our re-homing co-ordinator on 07794463249 or Siobhan at kennels on 07960561988
As tomorrow is the Royal Wedding we thought we would share a photo of our very own 'Royals' puckering up this week! Yes, caught by our candid photographer on Tuesday, Meghan (left) and Harry (right) were happy to pose for photos and show everyone how comfortable they are together.
Friendly Harry, similar in character to his namesake, is currently happy to be 'one of the lads' - maybe that's something that will have to change after his wedding!
Sweet Meghan, similarly, is affectionate and gets on well with everyone, charming all she meets.
We're relieved to see that the upcoming wedding doesn't appear to be causing them too much stress and hope they have a happy future ahead of them
