Lucky four year old Cain enjoyed a day out this week!
We send our thanks to Jude, Hayley and children for taking kennel hound Cain for a fun filled day out this week. The whole family enjoyed spending time with him and they tell us that when out and about Cain was ‘a perfect gent on the lead’, walking well with fellow greyhound Donald and greyhound puppy Bob. Cain also enjoyed visiting Haigh Hall later on the same day and met many breeds of dog which was a new experience for him. He coped well with this experience although we feel he may need more exposure to other breeds in order to gain confidence. Cain especially enjoyed travelling in the car on his day out.
Although apprehensive at first Cain soon got used to being in a house and especially enjoyed spending time in the log cabin in the back garden. There were plenty of sniffs to investigate and ‘wee’ mails to answer too! At this stage we don’t think Cain would be cat friendly. If you would like to find out more about Cain featured here please contact either Sue our re-homing co-ordinator on 07794463249 or Siobhan at kennels on 07960561988. Alternatively you can complete our homing questionnaire which can be found on our website: www.makantsgreyhoundrescue.co.uk
