Sid does have just one eye (he was born this way) and he manages very well, in fact he doesn’t miss anything that’s going on!
Sid has already been lucky have a sleepover with Julia, one of our walking volunteers. Julia has this to say about Sid:
‘I was lucky enough to have Sid to stay for the weekend and he was an absolute joy. He spent some time exploring his new world (he was very eager to befriend that other dog in the mirror, which was totally hilarious!). He was interested in his surroundings but fairly confident and unfazed by all the new stimuli.
He showed me that he is a quick learner, affectionate, friendly and responsive, and he settled really well. He walks well on the lead and was interested in meeting other dogs and any children we came across on our walks.’
Julia feels Sid would make an ideal family dog as he is a young dog with plenty of energy and would enjoy being involved with everything going on in and out of the home.
