We start the week with news of a homing and this time it’s extra special!
Kennel hounds Syd and Emma are being homed together to live with Deborah and her parents in Brockhall Village, Blackburn.
Syd, who was born with just one eye, suffered a vicious attack from an off lead dog not long after he arrived, whilst on a walk with our volunteers. We are grateful to our experienced quick thinking volunteers, Dave and Janet, who took quick action and, despite sustaining some nasty injuries, we’re pleased to say Syd is recovering well. Syd’s companion in kennels, Emma has been instrumental in his rehabilitation helping him rebuild his confidence, and it’s therefore wonderful news that they are being homed together.
We really are so happy for them and send our best wishes to the whole family for their future. We look forward to regular updates.
Supporters, we've another homing to tell you about and this time the lucky hound has gone straight into a home. We were asked to home seven year old Bella - and we're pleased to let you know she now lives in the Bury area with supporter John.
As she went straight into a home we've no photos of her either but wouldn't like to miss out on sharing the good news. We've improvised with this picture of Snoopy, have a great day everyone!
Supporters, we have more homing news to share and this time it's Fab!
This fab-ulous girl will live on the Wirral with Helen and family, with hound friend Dave for company. We wish the family every happiness for the future, Fab certainly seems to have a lot to smile about :)
Supporters, we've more homing news to share today and this time it's Rex!
This lovely lad will live with canine buddy Lucy, Andrea, Steve and family in the Horwich area. Our thanks go to Anne H who initially fostered Rex, and who did an excellent job preparing him for his forever home. We wish his new family every happiness for the future
