We've news to share of a homing today … and this time it's HARPER.
We were recently asked to help rehome this lovely girl who was only with us a short time. We're pleased to say she now lives with Sue in Tyldesley, so is staying in the local area. We wish them both every happiness for their future together.
Sweet girl Susie (with the wayward ears) was only with us in kennels a short time but soon bagged herself a great home! She now lives with Lorraine in the Chorley area and we wish them both every happiness for the future.
Today we have more homing news to share and this time it's Phoebe (was Heeby).
A few weeks ago we were asked to help rehome Phoebe who was being cared for by foster carer Irene. Phoebe has now been homed with Nichola in Bredbury and we send our best wishes to them for their future together :)
Our fabulous homing news keeps coming! Today, we're pleased to announce that PIPPY has been homed by Alan and Kelly. Pippy, will also have Makants hound Bobby for company, many congratulations to them all!
We start the week the very best way - with homing news!
Lovely lad BART wasn't with us long before he bagged himself a home in Astley Village near Chorley. Bart will live with Carolyn, Des, Joe and Cameron, we wish the family every happiness for the future :)
Supporters, we are so pleased to share some fantastic homing news with you, Pheby has a home!
For those who aren’t aware of her story Pheby (was Fire) arrived with us on the 16th February this year - a very scared and underweight little girl having travelled all the way from the Canidrome in Macau.
She had been very sheltered from the world, spending her days in a single concrete cell with no interaction or stimulation and obviously took some time to get used to the outside world. However, Pheby soon learnt to play with toys and had to adjust to rather cooler temperatures too! She was given plenty of TLC and time to adjust, having sleepovers with trusted volunteers while we looked for a special someone to adopt her. Her confidence slowly improved and earlier this month she went to volunteer Julia’s home for a ‘fostering holiday’. This is where we say that Julia has now joined the famous ‘Failed Fosterers club’ and at the weekend signed on the dotted line for Pheby. Julia, who has plenty of greyhound experience, has this to say about Pheby :
‘She loves sofa surfing (don't they all) and wriggling about on the grass on her back, with legs in the air. She is making new doggy friends around the neighbourhood and enjoying roast dinners and river walks; well after all she has been through she deserves some pampering!’
We couldn’t be happier for them both and look forward to hearing about their adventures together.
We send our thanks to everyone who has played a part in Pheby’s journey, enabling this sweet girl from Macau to have the home and future that she so deserves.
